The University of Georgia “Bulldogs” football team won back to back national championships in the 2021 and 2022 seasons. They have become one of the most successful programs in college football history. They have won 14 SEC championships, and have produced numerous All-American players, including NFL stars Fran Tarkenton and Champ Bailey. Under legendary coaches Vince Dooley and Mark Richt, the Bulldogs established themselves as one of the top programs in the sport.
The team’s mascot, “Uga”, is a purebred English Bulldog and has been a symbol of the program since 1956. Uga is one of the most recognizable and beloved mascots in college football.
