The University of Tennessee “Volunteers” football team has won six SEC championships and produced many talented players, including NFL Hall of Famers Reggie White and Peyton Manning. They consistently field strong teams, competing for conference and national titles.
The Volunteer faithful are known for their passion and support of the team, making Tennessee home to one of the most passionate fanbases in college football. The team’s mascot, Smokey, is a Bluetick Coonhound and has been a symbol of the program since 1953.
